We AI'ed our Heatseeker cow to Alias this year she is due to calve on Aug. 17 and she is looking huge! We were wondering what kind of birth weight of his calves? Also has anyone else on here used him on a Heatseeker cow if so how did the breeding work.  Thanks

He's been super on our ranch an both Charolais an on Angus cow's , some look real good if front leg's are ok he will really work on some cows, some X cow's don't work as good . This picture is a Charolais X Alias  heifer that is in Iowa some where .

Freddy hit it on the nose. You have to keep fingers crossed on Alias for front end trouble.COW has to be sound up front or a train wreck can occur.Study his pictures, he is straight as fence post up front. When he "clicks" there's none better.

We had very good success using Alias this year. All of them except for one sold for a high premium. The heifer pictured below is an Alias x Taz/Hoo Doo.

Thanks for all the responses!! :) I am glad to hear that most have good luck with Alias and it seems that his birth weights are okay for the most part. Plus I love seeing the calf pictures!!! I can't wait till our calf gets here. The cow we bred him to is a Heatseeker out of an angus and she is very sound and this will be her fourth calf. I will have the vet check her when it gets closer to her due date to be on the safe side.
