We are pretty high on 9U! Posted her in the Classified section a couple of days ago but the video link doesn't seem to work there. Have to get our techie to get the other videos uploaded.

Lot 42 is my pick.
We have a video up now of her. Her dam was born in really cold weather and has no ears and a short tail but has been a really good producer. I really like the ACC General 4U calves!

I have to add that I really am proud of the 2 year old as well as the Unica cow we are offering.  I think that 50X really is a female that has a lot to offer especially on the maternal performance of her cow family

Lot 13 is my kind of female!  Nice offering

Lot 13 is the only Prophecy daughter being offered this year, and is only being offered as one of our feature yearlings.  We have decided to retain the 21P daughters as we are really impressed with the females in production, and plan on using this group as the nucleus of our cow herd.

We just brought the sale lots home from  (yesterday and this morning) so I will be videoing all the yearlings in the next week.

Yea I'm a big fan of 4U- that's what a bull looks like.  I remember seeing sons of his in a catalog last year- they sure stuck out to me.  Now if only someone would offer something like him in a linebred-red package.

Hi All,   any thoughts on the Crooked Post females in this year's sale? Anyone seen them personally? Thanks.
I'm hoping to see them next week. That Lot 30 two year old by Grissom and her heifer calf by Jackaroo look pretty impressive. The twins (Lots 36 & 37) by their new JT herd bull also look great, should be top additions to someone's program (thumbsup)

I own the Tamarack bull now. His 1st calf crop here in Quebec are very impressive.I have a heifer calf and bull calf in the Ontario Fall sale on Oct 20.
The calves are all very consistent. Great length of body and rumps and some of the most docile cattle to be worked with as a bonus!!!! In fact,I liked the bull so well that I bought his full sister out of last year's Classic sale. She has a very good Jackaroo heifer calf.

Thanks for the info All.  Cedar Grove, would you say Lots 5 and 6 are typical for Tamarack heifers then, better/similar?
Okotoks, once you have a chance to see them an update would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The lots 5 & 6 look pretty typical from Tamarack. Lot 6 looks pretty special---great depth of quarter and nice front end and they will all have that extra rib of length.I have a carbon copy January heifer calf in the Ontario sale next week. She weighed 710lbs on Sept.7,so she is over 800 now.

Hi Bob,  Tamarack is TH free.  I also had him Igenity tested. Generally he is 6 across the board, with a 7 for docility, but low for tenderness.

Dad went and looked at the Crooked Post sale lots.  He was really impressed with the Grissom full sibs in the yearling and the two year old.  When he gets back from meetings I am sure he will give a more in depth report.  I have uploaded a video he took of the entire Crooked Post consignment
