Ya she could use some bone, her dam is fine boned for a Galloway. Her front 1/3 looks worse than it is, she has a pile of hair from the shoulders forward. Her head and neck are very feminine when clipped.
We use Pericles on Angus and Galloway heifers all the time. Calves are in the 70-85 lb range, and we don't touch them. Our 2yr old heifers weigh around 850-900 lbs the show heifers obviously heavier. He
will not throw little 60 lb jackrabbits with no growth.
Bobby Wellner used him on clubby bred heifers. He had to assist some to get the head out, then no issues. All were just by hand, no jacking or C-sections.
So yes he will work, but you may have to help them.
The resulting heifers will be great cows. Pericles' females have been awesome.
