The judging contest was held friday October 30th. Here are some results.

1. Oklahoma State University
2. Texas Tech University
3. Texas A&M

Any further results would be appreciated.

Also, Who do you think will top out as National Champions at Louisville?

Do you know any other results? When do the american royal folks typically update their website with all the results?

I wouldn't count the Texas Tech crew out.  They have been strong all season.

You can never count the tech crew out at Louisville, their coach, Ryan Rathmann is undefeated there since he judged at A&M

Any word on the 4-H judging yet?

1. Indiana
2. Nebraska

Top 5 individuals were close, I know 3 points separated 1st and 4th... it was close, but very good contest. I thought the stock was very placeable, and very fun to talk.

Are you sure about that?  Seems like he has if I remember correctly.

I don't know if the team that Ryan judged on won or not, I had not started judging in College yet. However, as a coach, Ryan won 3 National Titles in 3 years at A&M then took 2 years off and has since won 3 Titles in 3 years at Tech. He will be going for his 4th in a row this year.

I was on his brothers team at Blinn. I was too young to remember, but everybody always said he's undefeated there, so i wouldn't doubt it.

Ryan's team he judged on at TAMU (2001) did not win.  I don't remember if they were 2nd or 3rd that year.  He coached his first team in 2002 at TAMU and they won Louisville and then won 2 more times at TAMU the following next 2 years.  Then, he went to Tech and has won 3 times there as well in his first 3 years there.  He has been to Louisville 6 times and has won 6 times.

steerraiser is correct. Ryan is 6 for 6 as a coach at the NAILE. At A&M he won in (02,03, and 04) and at Tech he has won in (07,08,and 09).

Louisville should be interesting this year. With Bloomberg at OSU, Franke at Tamu, and Rathmann at TTU, things will get nasty. But, i do know that the TAMU team is stout, stout, stout, these kids can't be beat if they all show up on the same day.
