I've had hundreds of 004's and honestly we have never had a problem with disposition. We did use 50 units of Pioneer last year and we used 100 this year, pioneer calves are big topped deep boodied and they are just plain good, the thing I like about pioneer is his consistency. I honestley think he could of been our next "go-to" sire if our last "go-to" sire would not have been Final Anwser(Pioneers Sire)

Interesting thread drift from Pioneer to 004. I know they are from the same herd and they share the same Traveler 8180 on the sire and AAR New Trend on the dam side in their bloodlines, but they are different bulls. We have a small operation, but all animals we raise spend time in the show ring while being exhibited by kids. Our 004's have handled beautifully. We even had a 004 bred heifer used in a live nativity scene a month ago and many kids with no agriculture background loved playing with her. I just wish we would have used Pioneer this last year.
