Like an earlier poster said, it depends on what your goals are. Red Iron calves look good, and we like the Beef Maker calves. We bred our angus heifers to Beef maker, we will see in about 3 weeks how they look. I really like the looks of LN's bull, Yukon. I am eagerly looking forward to some pictures soon. Same with Homeboy.
I've heard reports from other breeders on Yukon's calves born this past thing and they said they came small and took off like weeds growing. I haven't seen any personally, but my Yukon calves will be here in a couple weeks!
