Is KState the only school in the area that did not close?

Where is Justme?  I hope she didn't loose her electricity..  I'm like Jason, slick roads are one thing, down power is another.

Here in North Central MO school was called off last night and this morning we have about a .25 inch layer on everything. Dad said the road crews havent been by yet, and the driveway had a pretty good layer. At least enough you couldnt get much traction at all.

So much for my parents going out of town for the weekend.  (lol)

I survived and didn't escape to Aruba.  School cancelled so kids get an extra day of holiday break.  Ice so thick on fence that the electricity went out on those.  I hearded old show heifers most of the morning.  Having trouble with the ice crust cutting the calves and cows right above there hooves.  One is bleeding pretty good so I'm keeping an eye on the little fella.

Thank goodness it wasn't as bad as they were predicting.

No ice but sure got a bunch of snow in hurry here in MI. I went to work @ 2:45 AM and there was nothing going on. It started about 3:30 AM. By 5:30 all the schools were closed and when I left work at 11:00 were had a foot of snow on the ground and 18-24" drifts. It seems to have stopped now so I need to get out and blow some snow. Wife's van is stuck in the driveway. :(

Our place is a mess! We have a lot of down tree limbs and they took out our fence.  I rebuilt that and then our power went out.  I got our generator and our sump line froze up and everthing backed up into our basement.  I can't wait for summer!
