Anyone watch Dr. Poe on Nat Geo?

I've watched a few episodes and find him very entertaining.

Can you give examples from some of the episodes of things that are not up to code or that he does wrong as a vet? 
Not arguing that anyone is right or wrong- I would just like more info on what you mean by his 1950's bed side style?

I only watched two episodes, but they were full of substandard practices - that might have been accepted in the early 1960s, but not today -  and a lot of the 'explanations' he gave - either to clients or to the viewers - were unadulterated BS.

After reading that I still take Dr. Pol anyday. He dosnt talk to the clients like 4 year olds. He says what it is and keeps the cost down. Your $10 iv and such would be $200 in my neck of the woods. Your outdated ways, when I took my donor cow to a vet teaching school didnt do a thing for her. I was better taught and prepared than the school and I told the head guy I would never be back with a calving issue, and he said he understands. Not a big vote for his students. Go DR. POL.
