I guess I get a little concerned about the air flow of the barn you have designed. I see where you have the two doors to the outside but I think that it could be pretty stale feeling on your other isle.
There is a door going to that other aisle, and i forgot to say that the aisle that juts out is open. Like it would be just the roof with a slight droped wall. I pasted a pic of what it would look like from the side.
i'd move your wash rack one slot over and move the clipping room in one. that way, you have less chance of moisture getting to your feed.
you probably want the light to clip under which may by why you wanted it there. i'd want that wash area to dry out and drain as easily as possible, preferably with a drain that exits far away.
Everyone's got Sullivan fans over each pen, but does anyone put those big exhaust fans built into the wall like you see on the ends of dairy barns? Seems like they'd make nice air flow.
My ideal showbarn is built into a hill. Free air conditioning.
A lot of people put exhaust fans in their show barns to keep air moving and help cool. But the sullivans fans over each pen are not purely for cooling. Those fans blow strong and provide a lot of stimulation to the hair which aids in growth and hair health as well.
