It has been over a year since this post was active and we are interested in using him in our small Angus herd. I was curious what recent calf crops have looked like out of him.
Virtually all of our calves end up in the show ring and we've built up a small but strong base of customers in our heifers. Our cows have solid numbers across the board, so we are not pushing any specific trait. However, since our herd is so small, we don't use a cleanup bull - so fertility is a premium for us. Phenotypically, our herd has good structure, mass, and most have excellent body capacity. We'd like to clean up our front ends a little and some could use a shot of extra bone.
Besides Cash, what are your thoughts? Our blood lines include Vermilion Payweight/Dateline, TC Stockman 365, BC Marathon, and Soo Line Motive.
