Easy one for me because i'm an old Cunia fan. In his day, Cunia had a lot of the answers. Since I have used both, I would say they breed similar in many ways. Cunia was larger framed, but that was in demand then. Both bulls could sire some plain cattle, and both could sire a really fancy one now and then. Both seem to sire better heifers than bulls, but that is just my opinion. Today, Cunia has a more lasting influence, but that may change. I like Cunia.

Cunia has influenced almost every breed of cattle for so many years-that its kind of a lopsided equation-plus Alis future use is so limited I dont see a whole lot to compare-other than personal preferance, thats if this poll concerns the impact and genetic legacy of sorts a sire leaves.

Cunia offers more opportunity and should sire calves that will bring more money.  if you breed ali to a fullblood, you will only get a purebred, if you want to use cunia, you can use him both here and canada and get registerable fullbloods.
