i personal like the red calf the best he brings out more muscle and looks deeper bodied then the black the black one the black one is a longer calf though.

the red steer is not only stouter in his bonework, wider through his chest, and squarer from knee to ground, but he's bigger bodied and more moderate in his frame size, which puts feeding efficiency in his favor... The black steer offers a more extended, attractive look from the side, hes leveler out of his hip and longer fronted

a comparison of the two, go with the one you like

thank you very much, do you think either one good enough for any of the major texas show
the black steer is taller than the red one and what class would you do?

the red one looks like he could be stout in the lightweight limis at san antone or houston... he is a little round, but that is forgiveable in a limi class.

As for the black steer, i would sure like to see him with more depth of rib, his added length suggests that he will be a bigger calf, and therefore he will be hard to get fat before he gets to big... Im not saying that every calf that is big right now will get too big, but this ones length of body and lack of depth scares me for his endpoint

No... All the exotics show together at ft worth... i wouldn't take a red one there, u pretty much have to be black to win in the hair, and there will be really good ones in all weights at ft worth

the red calf looks like he will be more moderate framed and easier feeding. The black calf could use a better picture but looks like he needs some groceries and will be taller in the end. The picture makes the black calf looker shallow through the middle and bit leggy.

Don't know anything about Texas shows.
