opinions on when a steer should be born when shooting for oye as final show

Fallborn 2017 - Competitive hair show for sure and the Grand Drive show for the kids has to be the best in the nation

what  I mean is what month aug sept or oct

We have show. Calves born from July to mid November in OKC. The older you can get them the stouter they will be.  Some of the steers winning are later spring or summer that have been held. You can make a young calf big enough but most of them aren’t stout enough to compete.
