James Holder is another good Texas fitter.

The heydey of fitting in my opinion was at the Texas majors in the late 80s/early 90s right before we went slick.  The rules werent as "sophisticated" as they are now and it was almost anything goes.  In the Texas shows, Nobody was close to Bobby Maddox or Mark Copus. Many of the major jocks now were once their apprentices.

I second that Travis Otterstad and Ryan from Bonhams crew are good. They know how to pick some good steers and fit them up before and at the show. I get calves there good guys to!

I know of a great place for these fitters to test their skills with absolutely NO limitations.....the Open to the World Show next weekend in Florida.  No rules.........just beef!!!
