Best route to Badger Kick Off/Driving buddy?

I was wondering what would be the best route for me to take to get to Badger Kick Off.. I live about 4 hours away and I don't mind the drive, but it would take me right through Chicago. I was wondering if there would be any better way?  I think if I took 39 up to 43 and get there that way, but it would be out of my way.  So I was thinkin that if someone in North Central IL or even just Central IL was going, we could meet up and go an alternate way, or maybe I could put my calves up for the night or something.  I just wish Chicago was a little bit NOT in my way.  If anyone can help me out, let me know.  Thanks!

Your not going be much out of the way taking that route.  It's only an hour to 39 from chambana.  Otherwise your gonna get mixed up in all that Chicago traffic.
