Yes, but the way I understand it is Keith Scott would let them come pick thru his cows that he was going to ship because they were open or getting to much age,etc. . They would pay him a little over market & everybody was happy.That's why he is out of an Improver 145 dtr., which was Keiths' main herdsire for many years. This is what I was told. :

Whenever we travel I enjoy looking at varying types of Shorthorn cattle. Even if they're not the type I would bring home. It's more the attitude of the people that make the trip worthwhile. Some I could care less if I ever visit again, and most I consider life long Friends.
Will, when you gonna come visit? I'll grill you up one of those horrible, certified Shorthorn steaks! ;D
