Better calving ease bull???

I never had any good luck breeding heifers to Ali so I stay away from him and his sons.....The only son I know of that has really good calving ease and accuracy with thousands of calves born is Smokin Joe. Ali soured me so bad I wont breed any heifers to anything that goes back to him. I tried JPJ, Doc, Dakota Gold on my heifers this year. Should know the results in march. I have used Lucky break and Shear force in the past and had good results but they are just feedlot calves, they might have had a chance in a purebred class but they cant compete in most crossbred classes. I usually just don't even figure on a heifer giving me any kind of show winner. Just hope for a good live calf and I usually breed them maternal and might be able to keep a heifer out of them.

Well-epds are 1 thing-and how a bull is made is another. Troubador is a massive bull. Granted Chars are not much to look at  when born then bloww you away later-but you have to remember this is a hiefer.The same goes for I 80-he is phenominally good,and thick. Sure your hiefer have one out of him?.An example is right above us in the I80 Thread by Maine Girl  RE :THE TRUCK  pictured at the Virginia Club calf show. He was jumping up and down good-AND-out of a Proud Jazz x bred daughter.If you have time-look at the picture of him from the rear-Im not saying he wieghed alot at birth,and just to toot horns-(I dont think cattle get any freakier than the Shorthorn-Chi-Maines) BUT I ALSO dont think a hiefer could have a calf like that-hes too massive and too thick. PS I was there-and he blew me and alot of other people away,and was a LOCAL CALF:which makes it that much cooler. O0

Thank you Mark! Its nice to hear someone else likes him. I'm so proud of him and so happy he went to a good home. We did have to pull him, easy though. About 85 pounds, after about an hour I don't like to wait much longer for heifers to push them out so I give them a hand. After the success we had with I-80 on our heifers (including a Milkman heifer) we decided to use him on our heifers. IMO I like him better than his sire. I raise Maines and look at sires that I can register calves out of. Gucci and I-80 are those bulls that I am comfortable using on my heifers. ///The smallest bws to the stoutest sow maintainers Ive seen any where are out of DMCC Bodybuilder,and Ive seen quite a few young to mature cuz Ive known Mark mueller 19 years and he had my herd for 2 when my partner died. I know everyone on here is probably sick of me saying this, but Tiny Tim has worked better for us for "calving ease" than any other bull we have tried and that includes calving ease Angus sires. 
A.) We have BW in our genetics and we have never had calves smaller than our Tiny Tim's. 
B.) In the seven years we have had cattle we have never had cows calve early until we started breeding to Tiny Tim. 
C.)  The calves have grown good for us and they are eye appealing calves. 
I know every situation is different and that is why this is JMO
