Opinions on what to breed some Whiskey and BK Power Plus cows to, There are 10 of them weighing about 1400-1500lbs. They are great cow and I'd like to try to get some steers out of them. I'd like to freak out their fronts and give them some more bone. All have had at least their first calf. I would also be interested in suggestions for heifers.

Do most Chill Factor x Irish whiskey claves grow slow? I love all of mine just doesnt seem like they have much performance in them(probably on account of Cunia 15 some odd times)

What about calving ease bulls for Whiskey heifers? Kept a few back for replacements.

Simply my opinion.

Heifers, you can't go wrong with Northern Improvement. He has always put clean fronts on my calves. He gives them hair and style. Not alot of mass but very solid calves.

Cows, I have to go wtih good ol stand by Who made Who on sound cows. If they are larger he would bring them down a tick.  We have always had luck  with great front ends with Who. I have not tried enough of new sires to comment.

Who or Dr. Who on heifers and cows. If you want to raise really good steers out of IW/Chill Factor cows, and if and only if you have BIG Kahona's use HW. Monopoly seems to be working on that cross also.[Have used both Who and Dr. Who on heifers and have never had a problem].

There are now 9 of them, one of them died on Tuesday. Had her posted and she said she ate so much that it put so much pressure on her lungs that she suffocated.

Have actually had thoughts of flushing a IW cow to Heatwave and WMW. How big do they come? What about bulls like Heat seeker,Tesas Hold 'em,  My Turn, and Monopoly?
What about Ali on IW's? Whats the smallest cow you would use WMW on? 1200 to small?

I remember jbh telling me about a My Turn x Whiskey heifer that he had seen in Eastern OH this last spring. She looked really good in pictures and he was really excited about that one. I believe he had a video on his Youtube called something like "My Turn Progeny" that she might have been in. I think one of the others he told me about was a My Turn x Chill Factor that was some place down in VA that he thought was awful good too
