What ever happened with the biss element calves did they pan out

His progeny had a lot of success down in Australia, though I personally haven't seen many in the US. Seems like another case of a bull who worked really well down there, but not so much up here. I could appreciate the bone and mass on the AussieXElement cattle, but in general I think they were a couple frames bigger than what is bringing good $$ in the US (as would be expected).

That was a cow that could work here in the US imo. Based on the pics I've seen, I think she's about a frame 5. And the Romance cow family at Nagol Park is one of their best.

Gargan that’s exactly the first thing that caught my attention...2 minutes before we sent them a message inquiring about purchasing embryos.  for progeny on the ground in 14 months after

Bull was way too big to have much usefulness.  Saw him in Denver as a long yearling at over a ton.

There's probably not a lot of people who can even answer the question. The show ring was being pushed in a certain direction when he raised to the top and I don't believe he really fit the mold. The wrong prefix and semen price probably kept him from being used in all the herds that would have plastered calf pictures all over the internet for everyone to see.

I have two daughters I purchased for the bottom side of their pedigree. They milk well, have bred back first service, and raised nice calves with very good post wean gain out of two different types of bulls. When bred moderate Angus the steer calves still exploded in the lot. 1000 of their calves in the feedlot every year would make nearly any farmer/feeder good money right now.

I have no idea what they looked like as calves, but they are the type of cows that would carry a lot of today's bulls over the finish line.

Somebody had a sale about two years ago with several Biss Element daughters pictured and with associated videos.  I can't remember who that was but this might provide a lead for  follow-up.

Yea he’s such a unique specimen that only by using him specifically could you infer anything about his type.  How long you been at this again?

World's full of good looking bulls that don't work and not so good looking bulls that work.  I would prefer to hear about what works well in other folks' herds and why they like it instead of negative comments about something they haven't tried.  I did not use Element, but that doesn't mean I don't want to hear from people that did.  I'm sure you have used bulls that have worked in your herd.  Tell us about them and why you like them instead of why you don't like a bull from the way he looks.
