We have a Sept 11 boardwalk heifer out of a Hoo Doo and Red Angus cow.  She is really small and round.  Not bad and hopefully will grow some hair, hasn't really grown into what we were hoping for.  I'll try to get a pic in the morning  We weighted her last week and she was at 755

Carlson, I have come to the conclusion that you are fairly new to the club calf deal, it can be allot of fun, it can be a giant head ache. I think you might benefit from going way back in the past post and scanning through them from early on to the present, there is allot of info on cow families, bulls, feeding, and a host of other items, that you might find interesting. You have many questions, you might find answers to some, you may also come up with some new ones. I know there are several different post discussing Meyer and other bulls who have turned out to produce great cows, as well as discusions on who the hot new bull is, some are later discussed as the latest bust, other bulls were written off early only to become some of the better bulls.
I am in no way trying to be mean I just think you might find some good information, (I do ask that you don't post on the real older post, it confuses the heck out of me sometimes until I check the date of the original post)
It may help you out, just remember you have to take the info you get back and form your own conclusions.

We have 2 steers and 1 heifer we are offering for sale on September 15th.  I have some pics of them as younger calves.  Once they're weaned and trained, we'll have videos and current pictures.ed

Colour was funny with them, the 2 red calves are out of black cows, and the black one is out of a red cow.

Here is the link to our Facebook album of all sale calves and you can see the Boardwalk calves.  You don't need to be a Facebook user to access the album.
