TJ, I figured out a long time ago that worrying what other people are doing is pretty much a waste of time and energy on my part. If someone wants to breed a heifer to HW it's not my problem so I really don't care. If someone wants my opinion and wants to breed a heifer to HW I would tell them not to do it. But, I am not going to do a public serivce announcement warning against it.
If I had an elite mature cow I wouldn't breed her to HW either, I would have Cowboy flush her and then put the eggs in some lower value recip cows that are little more expendable for lack of a better word.
