building the Chrysler Building--a smaller version

My daughter ( she's 11 ) needs to build a replica of the Chrysler Building for a school project, and she is looking for ideas re: construction materials, etc. The only parameters are that it fit on a standard school desk top and be constructed mostly by the student. ( I'm sure a little parental help would be OK.)  We are confident the creative minds of SP will be helpful!

Jenga bocks hot glued together and tinfoiled or painted to look the part.

Here it is - 15 bags of marshmallows, 90 cups of Rice Krispies, 7 1/2 sticks of margarine, 4 pounds of almond bark, and 3 pounds of powdered sugar later!
