Not to be Mr. Obvious but how small is the cow? You could be setting yourself up for a disaster if you start breeding bulls to add frame and size in an 1100 lb cow. IMO. Make sure you check any documented bw.

Frame size and bw aren't positively correlated.
Now that's the silliest thing I have heard all day.  ;) Just kidding, but I am curious as to whether you have any references to scientific studies showing there is no correlation? Or is this a guesstimation based on your experience?

Just my experience.  Have had lots of brangus and Gert sired calves that came mid 60lbs out of prolly 10+ frame bulls.  Only references I've found suggest there is a strong correlation between mature weight and bw but not frame score.

It is hard to tell in the pics, but she doesnt look too small. But you would know best. I have asked on here before to add frame size as well and I got some of these. Heatwave, Hannibal, Sunseeker, One and Only, Sin City, Unforgiven, Invincible, Yellow Jacket, Almost Famous. I havent had personal experience with any of them but none of them seem to far off from what I know. Good Luck! I personally tried the Sunseeker and Hannibal on some of my shorter cows but none stuck.

It will probably be an a.i. sire.
