bump on my steer!!!

my steer has a bump and i dont think it a wart it is growing but my parents say it might be some sorta worm that lives under the skin what do you think it might be ???

could be an absses, how big is it?? I had a heifer this winter that had a BUNCH of lil bumbs all over, and we decided it was a worm under the skin, but I cant remember what kind of worm it was, vet gave us a custom powder and it cleared them up, I was also told not to worm them with a spray on if they had them, for some reason I cant remeber.

shoot my teacher wormed him with a liquid but i dont know if he had the bump then its not that big yet but it is growing

like penicil earser size or bigger??

could be a warbble. It's where a fly will lay an egg & a larva grows. Probably not the correct term but what my grandfather called them. I used to squeeze them out when I was younger. Pretty gross.

feel it & see if it filled w/ something or squishy. Is it hard? Any opening at the tip or top?

does it have a try covering like ringworm?? if so it is probally the worm I was talking about, I still cant remeber what it is called

no sorry, i meant what does the bump look like, does it have a covering like ring worm, or is it stil covered with hair?

sounds like to me just an ordinary bump. if you feel around you cattle you can usually feel all kinds of bumps, you can kinda scratch them off, idk what the term for them is but i wouldnt worry about it.

ditto if it still has hair it aint a worm under the skin, I think its just an ordinary bumb
