I like my Sullivans Air Express III, have a couple Circuiteers that I use at home but I don't like them as much.

You have been on here several times discussing cattle with some reasonable smarts,I believe you said you were trying to raise club calves, discussing mostly older shorthorn bloodlines and what not,was 22 years old and said most college professors didn't know much or hadn't been on the farm in over 20 years. Now, I would like to know, with your vast experience, how have you managed all these years without owning a blower? It's ok to borrow one, but most of the people I asked was either using it the same time I wanted to or was joshing and wouldn't let me borrow one. You really can't go wrong, most all blowers are good now days. My brother still has a 1965 Electro Groom that is still used at home some. I even seen in a magazine the other day that they still make and sell them.

Nope, never had one before- knew I needed one, but never would break down and buy one....

Last time I checked TMJ, you didn't have to own a blower to raise cattle, or to gain experience...  We show barely any, if you can even call it that.  We also raise shorthorns, so hair hasn't been a problem.  Go to the pasture, put a halter on, clip their heads, toplines, tail, underlines... and show them...  Most I have ever showed at was 3 county fairs in one summer... had no desire to show at more...  To busy showing sheep at 20+ of them.

I have a buddy, and we work together quite a bit, when it comes to showing (at our county fair)- typicaly use his blower- but it's older than dirt and get the job done... I don't even know what kind it is... other than being blue- due to having all the tags and everything either worn off, or missing  still works though!!...

the main reason I have for purchasing a blower is for the show sheep preperation at the upcoming NAILE- having the ability to use it on the cows for one week a year, will just an added avantage.  I'm too old to show, and my cousin's don't have the abilty to show at more than our county fair.  our cows, at this point, aren't geared to be shown... just geared to be made better...
