Byland Mission's daughters udders?

Any one have experience? Good, bad, or acceptable? He's a Shorthorn bull.

Ours were good.  I doubt that either Byers or Cagwin (CCS) would put up with problems.  Do you think the good udders on them are partly because of Rodeo Drive back in their pedigree?

I don't know. I had a half Shorthorn-Half Red Angus cow who's udder isn't the greatest. Thinking about embryo transplanting her. Bolz liked the Byland Mission sire groups he'd seen.

I have had a couple Mission daughters and they had great udders. The Mission daughters at Cagwin's are a delight to see. Not a bad udder in the bunch.

Why do you want to flush a cow with a poor udder?  None of my business what anyone else does, but I wouldn't put up with it if I had a choice.

Its not really a poor quality udder but its kinda of a Red Angus udder........good point though. I sure don't want to breed her to anything with a bad track record of udder quality.

Renegade is out of a Mission daughter and he improves udders on pretty much everything. It could be mostly from the Dover Ranch pre potency though.

I have had a couple Mission daughters and they had great udders.

I have been walking a Pioneer son of one these Mission daughters (RT Jackie 101s) for a couple years now. His first daughters just calved this spring and they have beautiful udders. Great attachment, small uniform teats, with lots of milk. These heifers are a cross section of genetics from many herds with different genetic lines from across Canada and the bull certainly did a great job of making uniform, identical, tidy udders on the group of them.

This bull is for sale this spring, if anyone is looking for a mature 5 year old bull to get out and breed a bunch of cows! Recently passed a semen test and is in optimal breeding condition.

Only selling due to high number of daughters working in our purebred and commercial herds now.

First pic is him in the fall of 2015 after a summer on just pasture and breeding.
Second pic is a 2014 daughter and third pic is a 2014 son that I sold to a commercial producer (they're loving white bulls up here these days!)
