Calf Growth! I need help!!

I have a calf that is shorter in the front end than in the back end. Any suggestions on how I can fix that. What can I feed to help? Can it be fixed? All suggestions are appreciated.

It sounds like you mean he has a high tailhead and/or weak top. If so, you can't actually feed or do anything that will change it but you can clip him and set him up differently to try hide it a little. If you post a picture we could give you more specific advice.

Shorter in the front end? Like his front legs are shorter than his rear legs? Not enough neck extension? Too high of a tailhead?

Pictures would help out if you'd like a more specific answer!

My guess is to get his top line to be level he would need to be standing on a slope, if that is the case it is what it is. Keep feeding him and it may, over time, not be as noticeable as he grows and develops.

I'm just taking a stab you say it's shorter in the front end than the back end...... Young growing cattle tend to grow from the hips first then the front end will catch up....Then they will level out until the next growth spurt.
