She must have had trouble getting bred as a heifer also.... having trouble getting bred back now......
I'd say she isn't very fertile, therefore not a "good heifer"..... some would argue that monoply is a terminal sire.
If you want to develop heifers that bred easy, and breed back, I would suggest you cull her and get something that doesn't have trouble breeding.

an occasional cow will go cystic after being set up with CIDRs. Best to have a vet check her out. She may have just had a silent heat as well. I have a cow here that I seldom ever see in standing heat, yet she gets bred every year when she is with a bull. Everytime I have tried to set her up  to AI breed, I never see her in heat. Guess I am not as smart as the bull is!

JIT -- your nose just isn't tuned in.  You have to put your nose in the air and wrinkle it up for the best heat detection.

Bingo -- now I know why most or at least a lot of those big city folks have thier nose stuck in the air all the time -- they have a permanent ""  FLEMEN "" reaction to every one they meet! Makes sense now -- hehehehe!!!! (clapping)

JIT -- you just keep your nose in the air -- we all know you aren't stuck up!!! hehehe
