We had a good layer of ice early, then it warmed up to 50 and turned to a muddy mess. Pick your poison!! (lol)

I'm getting ready to make my rounds before church and I'll see how mine are taking it. It was 81 yesterday at 2:50pm and right now it's exactly 30 degrees with a 22mph wind lol. We're down south of Houston by about 50 miles.

Dang man, talk about an abrupt change! We are back at 60 after being in single digits the last couple days.

Our cattle are getting a treat today, warming up to 34 F after being down close to minus 30F  the last while.But that is typical of here, the record high on Dec. 18th was 66 F in 1954 and the record low was minus 34 F in 1955! Climate change and global warming must have been extreme in the 50's  (lol)

Here in the Oklahoma panhandle we were 75 degrees Friday afternoon and my phone showed us at -9 this morning. Have sunshine and supposed to be back in the 50's by midweek.

My cattle have a nicely bedded barn to stay in but they choose to spend many snowy (and what I consider to be cold) nights outside. I've even had cattle standing in the pond at temperatures around freezing. They never cease to amaze me! (lol)
