Anyone have semen on either bull.?
justintime said:I have Cujo semen but it is here in Canada and I'm not sure if it is exportable or not. I know the stuff here in my tanks at home will not be exportable but I think there is still 20-30 straws that has never been out of the stud since it came to Canada. I think there may be as many as 70 doses here. I also have a few straws of his son, J&H Mike's Cujo, but I think there is less than 10 of him.
I don't recall G9 ever being marketed, but there could be some around. Check with David Ragsdale, in KY. He may be able to help you
wiseguy said:I would try Gary Chesnut of Illinois on the cujo semen. He is the breeder of the bull and much closer to you than Ragsdale. If not him I'm pretty sure Joe Elmore at Allerton Illinois still has some in his tank.

TGCC, how'd you figure out he was my new idol?
I heard on bob/tom that American idol lost two judges this week= Steven tyler and JLo. I sent in a nomination for JIT to be one of the new judges. All I put- JIT from steerplanet, everyone worships his opinion, and he's my biggest idol. We'll see if he gets a call.
You'd think that with everyone having this semen on hand- there would be some opinions of these two bulls. Like maybe, is G9 really sired by Capon?

Ummm... what's your problem outspoken? You asked if anyone had semen from Cujo or G9. I just replied to your question and told you I had Cujo and suggested where you may be able to track down some G9. If my simple response bothers you so much, maybe you need to adjust your attitude a bit. I was only trying to help you out but apparently you can't even appreciate that !!!
I saw Cujo at the 1984 Louisville show and I tried to buy him there. He was registered as being sired by Deerpark Dividend there. While we were negotiating a deal on him, I found out that he did not bllodtype as being sired by Dividend so I backed away from the deal. He finally bloodtyped to being a G9 son, which does make more sense to me. When Hale Charlton of J&H Cattle Co in California purchased him, I made a deal to get semen from him.
As for judging American Idol, I don't think I will be able to do it . I will be too busy watching reruns of Oprah!

They had Waukaru Cinnabar at the 1980 World Shorthorn Congress at the Calgary Stampede and I loved him but he was out of my price rangejustintime said:My favorite G9 son is still Sutherland Ransom 179, who was used at Waukaru and still is being used there some. I remember seeing Ransom 179 for the first time at Waukaru, and he still ranks as one of my favorite all time bulls that I have seen. We purchased a son of 179 named Waukaru Cinnabar in the 1980 Waukaru sale. He had been Reserve World Champion Bull earlier that year. Cinnabar did an outstanding job for us and he left an excellent set of females that reeally bred well with the Irish sires we were using at that time. Cinnabar really made them moderate framed and well muscled. I will have to try to find some pictures of some Cinnabar offspring. I wish I had some Cinnabar semen today as I would certainly use him again.
