Cheap Show Steer. Opinions?

So my fair isn't very competitive and I didn't spend much on my steer. What do you think?

  As in cheap how much do you mean? (technicaly)

Nobody spends more then $2000 on their steer.

We used to tell people who asked that we spent $1500.  We had to raise that to $2000 last year with stronger cattle prices.  Doesn't matter whether it was $1250 or $3500.

How much money did you pay for him?

Arch Lord Pie (now known as Zack) -- it isn't polite to ask how much someone paid for their steer, but I bet it was less than $10,000.   (thumbsup)

He's a dang nice steer no matter what he cost. Looks like he was a bargain and you have done a great job with him. 1525??? Definitely outside the champion weight range at most shows. I hope your sale is like ours and he will sell by the pound.
