Chilled Chivas

Has anyone had calves out of Chilled Chivas? Is so what did they turn out like and how was the calving ease? I have mostly Angus based cattle I was wanting to add some power from the Maines, but I want to stay away from PH carriers. Everyone talks about how good Whiskey is on Angus cattle, but I will use any carriers. I cannot risk not having a live calf.

I meant to say I will not use any carriers. I forgot a very important word.

I used Chilled Chivas and found out that he is a monkey mouth carrier. I can't remember how monkey mouth works if both dam and sire have to be carriers or not. I wouldn't use him because of that though because I had a really nice heifer that I had to get rid of because of it. I have always like K&A Maine bulls and their program for powerful Maine show genetics. When I was in Denver a few years back I thought they had a great set of bulls out there. K&A Nautica, K&A Kasanova, Open Bar, and a few others they use. Just a thought. Of course I would say you should use a Shorthorn but you didn't ask about them.
