I sold a blower, clipper, and 3 sets of blades within 48 hours of posting them. The correspondence was great, and they went to a good family. Never had a transaction go smoother.

Whether you are selling cattle, cars or copiers, for any deal to be termed "successful" it needs to be good for both parties. The buyer needs to get something that's value is equal to or exceeds the price and the seller needs to get a price that he can live with. The two calves i have sold on Steer Planet meet those requirements I believe. One traveled over 1200 miles and one over 550 miles to their new homes. Without Steer Planet, I never would have the privilege meeting the two families involved.

The first two pics of the black calf is a Hannibal X Sim Angus sold to the Richburg family of FL. She has done more than her share of winning. The last win being reserve AOB at the Miami International Agriculture and Cattle Show to the Supreme Champion over all breeds which was also owned by Jordan. This show featured over 400 head, so not the North American, but not a small show either.

The last pic is of this calf's March 09 baby sister.

The resizing of the last pic didn't work on the previous post. I am technologically challenged.

This is a Heatwave X Simmi purchased by the Swett family of Platte, SD. This calf is undefeated n class and the reserve calf champion of the South Dakota State Fair Open percentage Simmental show. They don't have a junior show for percentage cattle. But more importantly than a good show record, "Princess" is the pride and joy of Amya  as you can see by the pic. <hero>

I had posted a heifer that I consigned to the Ohio Beef Expo and received a lot of interest in her from Steerplanet Members (Linnettejane, PLKR, Diamond were bidding on her) and Lffashower ended up purchasing our heifer.  She has already won her breed at the Michigan Beef Expo- Congratulations Lffashower!

Thanks again to the steerplanet members for showing interest & bidding on her- Also, thanks to SteerPlanet for allowing us to advertise for Free!

Picked up a bull from Hangonsloopy in NW Ohio based on a classified ad photo.  Was exceptionally pleased with the calf.  The bull was accurately represented.  +1 Karma!

We have sold about a dozen head or more over the past year off of ads and photos on steerplanet. It only takes a few minutes to put together an ad with photos. The best part is the cost. It is free. We actually have a web page on another site, but every photo cost me money. The calves pictured below were purchased site unseen except for photos on here. The heifer has been Res. Breed and is a consistent class winner and the steer has been Champion feeder calf already. Thank You Meharg Family!

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR BUYERS AND STEERPLANET

We recently purchased a heifer we saw on steer planet.  The owner was very helpful answering our questions and was willing to meet us half way with her to make the transaction.  Love your website.  We have found several steers and heifers that we would love to own.  The people advertising on this are really great.

I purchased a heifer from McFarland's and fans from Penrod. Both transactions couldn't have gone smoother. Mr McFarland was right on the money and the heifer is doing very well for us. young man selling the fans was willing to drive out on a Sunday and meet me near his home. Thanks for the reasonabley priced fans. they are going to help us a bunch in our cooler.
I had the pleasure of selling a calf to ShowmanQ and they are working their tails off. he is young and they have a late county fair. I am anxious to see how he develops.

In our online embryo, pregnancy and flush sale in Feb/09, I sold several embryo lots and flushes to SP members. Since then I have sold several more, and a shipment of over 100 embryos will be leaving for the US any day, with many of them going to people I have met on this site. We have also sold several live cattle, and semen to SP members, and have had several others bid on our cattle. Sometimes your runner up bidders are as important as the buyers. In any event, we appreciate each and every bidder, buyer and SP member who is interested in our cattle.
