How important is it to have them clipped before taking pictures to get them advertised and sold now instead of waiting until after weaning?  Have seen pictures of some clipped and others not but just wandering if it makes a big difference in getting them sold?

I don't think it's that important. If your set up to do it and it would be easy for you to get it done I would say do it.

I think it makes a huge difference.  Take a look at a bunch of breeder websites.  You won't find many unclipped calves, and those you see won't look very good.  It's tough enough to get a decent pose.  At least a cliiped calf looks somewhat presentable.  You don't have to clip a whole lot.  Just clip the head, clean up the neck, hit the top line, and square up the tail.  That should add at least $1000. ;D

dittio if your going through the trouble of advertising and trying to sell before weaning, Why wouldn't you clip them too?
