An angus breeder by me used One and Only and got some white faces out of angus cows, calves were 85-90lbs out of bigger angus cows, the heifers actually look like they will make cows. also had luck with Tiger woods though his calves came big and All Aboard worked well on angus cows too.

Have seen some sun seekers out of plain angus cows with not much power that were pretty tough to get around.  Great hair as calves and fat steers..

Cut the BS summed it up pretty well! Here's a few more for you. Bojo, Hairy Bear and Point Taken. We actually have a cow that is bred to Point Taken. She's registered Angus and due in March. Also Copyright is another that will work well. He's purebred Angus but considered composite.

Well since the thought has been in my head all day....

If I were you, and you were wanting some color and a show steer look.. I'd breed with something old time (and carrier) from the shorthorn breed.. Something like double stuff or any of his sons/ grandsons.  I'd also think of Windstar or any other Stinger bred bulls.  Really any of those old time bulls don't have the body, or soundness to work with today's crossed/ mixed up crap... but on some quality cows, with plenty of set... this might click quite neat in more than one way.  This would also help keep some consistancy up instead of using a hodge podge of genetics...

If they're smaller frame cows try a couple straws of Salty Dog. Three of the hairiest, stoutest caives I saw this fall were Salty's, I hear they want you to stick to a small frame b\c of his size.

GOT some ANARCHY calves this fall out of ANGUS cows and they look good ,should be about right size for fat steers and moderate for cows ...

BEST calves we got were in JUNE out of ANGUS cow and a bull we raised , MUDDY WATER , VERY few people that had come to the place ever even asked about the bull until we got this group of ten or more MW calves in JUNE ...Calve easy, great disposition, best I've seen for clubby bulls ,no cripples ,good  sound structure and the females make the smoke deal really look good ....Out of Angus cows they all won't be freaky enough for show steers ,but they sure will not get docked going to town at the auction ....The heifers right now look like the real deal and got some calves coming this spring ..
