Absolutely! We had a tough spring on conceptions last year, which was partly due to a bad drought the summer before and thus poor quality hay fed all winter. We switched to VitaFerm Concept Aide in September, to get our cattle set up for late November breeding. We got 100% conception on the embryos (4 out of 4), and 70% conception on AI, with the cows that did not stick all being bred to the same AI bull, and consequently every straw of 13 straws used got zero conception. When we went back to AI the second time, with different semen, all but one stuck and she stuck on the third heat with the bull.
Now, not only is our conceptions higher, our cows returned to heat much faster after calving (most between 24 and 30 days), and so far this spring we have had great conception. We are switching to the High Mag/IGR concept aide on this next mix.
So, yes, I think it is worth its value. Especially if you do a lot of AI and embryo work.
