Just saw on the ASA site that TM Gus was named Grand Champion bull in Denver today.  Great job Stumpy - he sure looked good in Louisville and I'm glad you stayed with him.  Tell Twig I'll buy him a beer the next time I see him!!

Females show tomorrow - but if the Junior Show was any indication there may be some shake-up from NAILE.  A Cates bred Sr. Heifer calf was Champion for Jonathan Mcollough and the V8 Hip Hop heifer was Reserve for Teague.

Good luck to all tomorrow - it looks like it might be a good one.

I watched the whole bull show and "Gus"  just looked like a winner as soon as he walked in the ring.  As many of you know, I've been a big fan of this bull for a while and alot of us sure did a lot of whooping and hollering when he won.    I think it may take Stumpy a couple of weeks to wipe the smile off his face!!!!  As I told you at the show--"Congratulations Stumpy, You deserved it!!"  I really can't wait to see our first "lil Gus" in a few weeks!!

Stumpy and Twig's Gus bull was even more impressive than the pictures I had seen prior to the show. He owned the ring and I thought he was the definite crowd favorite. There was room for a thousand others between him and the next best bull. If he hadn't won, there may have been rioting in the streets. Congrats guys... you have a definite great one.... and he is NOT too big!!!

Congrats Stumpy I thought that he was by far the best bull in the ring and when we walked in the first time I knew it was his day.  I know that I am breeding most all of my animals to him this year.  Cant wait to see them next year.  To bad I have to wait that long.    Congrats again couldn't have happened to a better group of guys and girls (cant forget Stacey and Mary)
