I've heard of people cooking feed, and I would like to try it. What do you cook it in? What kind of feed do you use? How much feed do you use? How much water do you use? Thank you

The main thing people cook is corn and barely. We cook ours in a roaster pan. 2 scoops(we have a mega scoop). After putting feed in, fill rest of pan with water. Cook on 350 for about 10-12 hours. Let cool and feed at next feeding. Calves love it!

Crock pot would work if you are feeding small amounts or few head. Don't forget how much it expands and might experiment during the daylight hours so you can keep an eye on it. I love the smell of cooked barley!

It does expand a lot. And I will most definitely agree, try it out in the daytime. Its easy to burn it if you dont check it and add water when needed!
