Cow Lick problems

I've been working with my heifers hair and up untill a week or so ago she had really nicely trained hair but now she has patches of cow licks on her hip. what can I do to get em gone?

After rinsing are you brushing the hair down first and then brushing forward? This works on curly hereford hair. As future breeder said then brush til it hurts.  If a cow lick reappears brush it down to get it straight and then brush forward.  Hope this make sense

yeah I get it.... thanks for the imput guys. Sucks that they just popped up overnight almost like the hair doubled in those spots

Brushing is the ticket, but you can also apply some hair conditioner or olive oil into the "lick" and leave it in for a couple of hours or until the next time  you rinse her.  This will help relax the hair.

Olive oil as in OLIVE OIL or the haircare stuff?
