Cow lost calf

We have a cow that was not supposed to have been bred (think the bull got in while people were ranch-sitting for us). She calved in the middle of a blizzard and lost the calf. Do I need to catch her to milk her off or will she be okay? I don't want to try to graft a calf due to temperatures.
