O M G, what have I done!! I certainly hope no one thought I was panning for handouts, I tend to blab a little to much at times. Yup, I have been out of circulation for over a year, ever since last June 19. One of my favorite old cows was due to flush the very next day, I called her Queenie from my good friends up at HF Chars. As I layed in the hospital bed the next morning, she was all I could think of. The owners were called, and of course he said don't worry about that darn cow, but I did. A couple others were due on Tuesday and Thursday, luckily the folks in Oklahoma were able to come get them in time. They both had successful flushes there, after being crammed in some ones schedule.
I fully intended to do more to keep in touch with you all. My dear friend Road Warrior tried to keep you updated some, time just ticked by with never ending doctor appointments and of course, constant worry about how we would ever pay the bills. The ranch we run did have workers comp ins, and we were accepted as a viable claim, so thank God, all my medical bills were paid in full. Now, what is going to make me feel good again (After receiving permanent disability status from hoards of doctors) is to be able to look out and actually have something worthwhile to do -- namely my love of doing ET with some of the great cows any where. I am not the same, never will be, but the hand still works great, the mind - well - some say I never had one to begin with, and the older body has a good excuse to be last getting things done.
I miss you all, I feel bad I did not do a better job of keeping you updated, but I felt just felt like I would be a bother. We need to get back to feeling important, so ya, load the semis and get em coming. I have a wonderful small banker that I know will loan us the bucks to start over if need be, all I need to do is have something to get me out of bed earlier in the morning, a guy can get LAZY sitting around.
Love you all, cheers and thanks SOOO much Librarian, I am humbled! Best to all -- Terry
