Craziest breeding decisions

I don't know if this has been a topic on here and I wouldn't even know what to search, but I sometimes see in catalogs and posts that people have bred a heifer to a bull like monopoly or some clubby bull (big BW bull) and got away with it so I'm just wondering what some people have bred to heifers or even cows and looking back are saying, "dang I got lucky there" or maybe it didn't go good.

I obviously don't plan on trying anything that will be posted I'm just curious

Breeding to Lautners bull highlander was my craziest breeding decision just because at the time there was a lot of unknown of progeny

breeding a purebred brahman to a OCC Legend X Carney man/alias female. Its in the oven but man if we get that calf out I might have a stud of a half blood the cows about 1250 on the hoof frame score 4 and has a big ole ghetto booty!

i have a Sunseeker X Double Stuff heifer in calf to a Muridale Buster 14k son. not a oops, because he is an easy calving bull, but it could be a cool calf

Pretty good, bred him to a heat wave heifer and got a 60 pound heifer that isn't the stoutest but had a ton of hair and had a super look

i do this every 3-4 years, so it may be stupidity more than crazy.  but using any so called "calving ease" maine cross clubby bull on heifers.  Ali and sons included.  High accuracy, proven pb bulls are the only way to go.  seems like every time i try the flavor of the month calving ease clubby i undoubtedly get a giant to put in the dead pile, but man, aren't they cool?

I Would rather have a not so cool one as a dead one never could get them sold at any price but I know What you mean
