Dates of Denver Stock Show?

Looking to plan a family (1st time ) ski trip and still spend a day showing the 3 boys the clubby bulls. What Friday & Saturday in January is the display weekend?

Also, what do you recommend for ECONOMICAL condo and skiing for a family?  Thinking about Breckenridge, would
