Deer Season 2008

Deer season in MO starts this Saturday.  We in our area still have to have 4 points on one side to shoot a buck.  Getting fences secured and bringing the cows up soon.  When is your deer season and are you having company in for it?  My dad and his two buddies are coming Thursday.

Thought it would be fun to share.  Kinda like the song "Da thirty point buck" by DaYoopers lol

In Michigan ours starts on Saturday as well.  It should be fiasco.

Ours opened on Friday. I only had a doe tag, so that was easy to knock down. Buddy of mine pulled in a 7x9 whitetail buck.

Dad took a young  buck last night with his bow, and our first Shotgun/Muzzloader season is in two weekends.  I doubt that I'll be back for opening day though, because of NAILE activities.  It's my sister's first season, so I'm hoping she tags out!

I shot this one with my bow last weekend. Then I realized it was on the back window of my insurance agent's truck. Lucky for him it wasn't firearms season or I would have put at least half a dozen holes in it.

In VA, the season started about a month ago. We're in our 2nd week of early muzzleloader. Rifle season starts Saturday. My brother killed a nine point and my dad killed a 10 pointer. Good Luck to everyone!

I went last Saturday, and didn't get anything. My sister tagged one going 60 mph in her jeep though, luckily it was insured.

Yeah, definitely be careful we had a young man shot by an errant bullet from someone shooting from their truck.  They were able to find him and ended up charging him with manslaughter.

Shotgun season in central Illinois should be pretty good this year.  The rut slowed way down when it got warm and it is just getting going again.  Good luck to everyone! I am hoping to get the 12 pointer that is hiding out behind our place.

No fair! I'll still be in Louisville for the Charolais show on opening day....if you get him, I'm gonna be jealous.  Save at least one good buck for me!
