Dr. Business was very well recieve IMO. not to many 3/4 maines in herd bull alley that were clean of both.

TinMan if your looking for a smoke, is very complete.  Not super fronted but full of meat, good hair and calves should feed great.

Eye Candy- Trausch Farms- Naughty Pine X PB Galloway was very complete as well.  Good hair, bone and power and that soft look as well.

The blue roan was a Manchild that Lautner had called Rainmaker, I believe.  Very complete as well as the 2 I just mentiond.  Maybe a little straight but very nice.  Probably the best blue bull I have seen offered.

Now to the freeks that will be used as well.

Mayhem-  Very stout, stylish and extremely hairy.  Maybe a little tubular but on the right cows should throw some good 2 great ones  He was a friction sire and dam was a  Heatwave x Mossy Oaks dam, but don't quote me on the dam for sure.

Lautner had a Heat wave son that had the look of Heatwave himself and the Heatwave 6 Clone looked good in the stall.  That Kojack char bull looked very good for an older one.  I thought the offspring of Gigalo Joe that Commen Sense had on display look very good as well.  I don't know that there was a Shorthorn that really grabbed my attention.  There was a Paddy O Mally X Full Flush bull that is clean that looked pretty good as well.

TC One Way ??? IMO was worthless to display,they couldnt really fit him so he really didnt look very good, he toes out really bad, he is spaced out really far on the front wheels, but he is very narow on his back legs.

Once again I really like Kojack,

the Heatwave 6 Clone looked good in the stall.

What about Point Taken?  How was he bred on the bottom I know he is a Heat Seeker.  From the few people I have talked to he is suppose to be the real deal and one of the best to be displayed in the last 4-5 years.

I too was disappointed in the shorthorns. I felt they looked green from the video or young. BOTH of the charlois I thought were the best overral. RSC from video Mayhem did look extremely stout etc. But for completeness from the video's up so far the Char's get my vote.

Tinman was an Alias but don't know the dam.  Point Taken had real good muscle shape, descent hair and bone and a good look.  A litter plainer fronted IMO.

I worry about legs on Alias calves. The ones I have seen usually are like a compass and point all directions.

This one looks good to me and alot of other people that saw him in denver.  You have to remember Interstate from last year who was an alias and was said to be one of the soundest bulls in denver.  Did anyone happen to see him out of the stall moving? I think he is the perfect combo for one of my cows.

One thing about this bull, the calves that you don't market as clubbies should have some pounds to sell.  Looks like alot of grow in this bull.  Interstate was probably a little sharper looking but this bull has alot more to him.  Alot like his dad, but his dad seemed to roach his top when I saw him walk.  I have heard good things about Alias from a pretty reputable breeder so maybe the soundness isn't an issue.  There were a number of bulls that should get used this year.

From what I thought of the Eye Candy bull, Naughty Pine X Galloway and seen his dad when he was in Denver, I am thinking about using Naughty Pine.  What have others thought of his calves?

Just his dad.  I didn't see tinman walk.

I havent seen many calves in person out of naughty pine besides the pictures on trauschs website. We used him on about 15 females this year including several charolais x females. I am alyways looking for a new black bulls to use on these char x's and hoping these turn out. I guess we will know this time next year!!! Anyone else seen calves out of naughty pine besides on the website?

WOW, that Kojack bull is stout, he's a package! I liked Con Man too. He seemed to walk very smoothly. The other bulls so far aren't exciting me that are up.

Cathy, On the right cows to produce steers, the Mayhem bull that Jeff has up will do some good IMO.  He needs a cow with some rib shape and body but he does have power,  the look, great hair and bone.  You may want to match him with a cow that has a docile disposition.

Kojack...I love him. Soft made and pretty for a Charolais or anything else. Might be Heatwave's replacement. No need for hair when they're that good. Maybe a whole new generation of show steers. Heatwave Watch out!!! Wonder if there is any maternal in him???

The Reserve Champion Female in the open show was out of a Madrid daughter and 2 Madrid daughters won their class in the junior show. The females by Madrid are defiantly making great cows. They have great hair too.

Watch the BW on Kojac.  I personally would not use him on heifers.
