All this is information found along the path while (whilst) I am searching for something to tie selection for “favorable” casein alleles to mutations ( amino acid substitutions) involving myostatin, growth hormone, energy metabolism, etc etc etc. In this paper, they mention a selected for casein allele resulting in firmer cheese...if I read it correctly.knabe said:when i hear desirable phenotype, i don't hear what was lost. and the connections, circumstances that drove the undesirable alleles.
