Just curious of what people thought of Doug paretts judging

I had grand steer under him at my state Fair in 1992. It was a smoke colored steer, when smokes weren't cool. He went out on a limb to use him and I appreciated that about him.

Good on the mic, knows nothing about cattle. Seen him judge twice, the bigger the better regardless of structure.

I took a few of Dr. Parrett's classes at U of I and showed a few time when he judged.

He does know a thing or two about cattle.  He also knows a bit about coaching a judging team or two.

It's been a while but he lined them up in a way that you could follow even if you didn't agree.

Ejoe I have to disagree with you, he was all over the map at the royal he just judged and denver  I was beginning to wonder if that hearing aid he wears was wired to Jerald Callahan. If he does know cattle he did not demonstrate that.
