GB- I know LR Randolph 14th shows up in most of my DRC cattle. Phenotypically, he is sure a maternal type sire.

does anyone have a pic of "LR Randolph 14th"? I would like to see it.

Gary, I think I have one in one of my old Shorthorn Worlds. I will try to find it.
[/quote] As I understand it, according word of mouth, almost everything at DRC is line-bred back to him, right?

George Rinkoff in PA used Randolph and has some of his bloodlines left. He used a son 3565773 RAE MONTANA PHANTOM. RINKHOFF AG ENTERPRISES,SMOCK,PA
He also used Circle M Ghost Rider 10G a bull we used by Diamond Captain Mark 27C. 10G was a white horned bull. I believe he only uses horned animals. He also used Juda Ben Hur recently.

Why not go oldschool-and buy a dover bull-a bunch of old Byland Semen-and say thats what they are? I have seen several old shorthorn breeders(over the years) who changed em quicker by being slicker.lol O0
I know there have been a few that it was claimed were not what they were supposed to be. A couple of these bulls had a lot of use. Now shorthorn bulls in Canada are DNA tested before  any progeny are registered. (which reminds me- Hilltop I am sending Matlock Red Snipers's DNA sample away tomorrow, promise) They also have to be TH tested.(all bulls need DNA and TH tests not just AI sires)
I suppose if you give them time someone will figure a way around DNA tests too! Although some breeders are using it as a marketing tool and providing this with every bull they sell.
