did i hear a rumor that the durham red program was no longer functioning through the ASA, a while back?  Or am I crazy?  Not wanting to start anything- but thought I heard that, and wanted a ya or nay.

I was told the week before Xmas by ASA that I could register my shorthorn/red angus cross calves as a shorthorn plus first on the ASA and then after all tests and weights were submitted they could be applied for/registered as durham red if I so desired.

We have no durham red program in Canada on CLRC. They just get registered as a % shorthorn

I have a Shorthorn Plus registered on the ASA that I bought from sue that I think will qualify as a durham red but she has not been registered as such
Her 2010 bull calf (3/4)  from a shorthorn sire will also qualify I believe and that is why I was asking the ASA how to go about getting an animal registered DR
