I'm fixing to dye my heifers hair. I'm a first timer, and I need tips. I know I should probably have someone else do it, but I need to learn to do this myself. Thanks for your help.

It looks better. The sun fades out black hair a little and it'll give it a slight reddish tint that doesn't look good.american honey said:Why do you dye the hair? What is dyeing it suppose to do?
I've always fogged the entire calf then went back over it and brushed it. I usually just fog up to the jaw then just pour a little on their face and rub it in to avoid the eyes. You don't have to do anything special on their neck. Spray it normal and just make sure you rub it in good.DEA said:A couple other questions to add on to this........
1. Is it better to fog the entire side and then brush it in or is it better to do a certain section then brush and move to say middle of calf then brush, move to front then brush in,etc.
2. What is the best way to do the neck (with its wrinkles) and up around the head?
